Airlink 100 Edinburgh Airport Bus

I prefer to take the Airlink 100 bus Edinburgh airport to city centre and from Edinburgh to airport because it operates 24 hours a day, has plenty of room for luggage, and everyone has a seat (compared to trams that might be overcrowded during peak hours).

Plus, the service is quite frequent, busses from Edinburgh airport to city centre departing every 10 minutes during peak hours and slightly less often at night.

Single or return ticket

When it comes to tickets, I always opt for the return ticket. It’s a wise choice, not just because it’s cheaper, but also because it offers the flexibility to travel on any date and time. This cost-effectiveness is particularly beneficial when I have early morning flights to Ireland for client meetings, as the bus operates 24/7.

  • £8 for a return ticket

Finding the bus stop is straightforward. As you exit the terminal, keep to the left and walk until you see the Bus Stop A sign, approximately 100 meters away. If the bus isn’t right in front of you, remain in place and wait.

During the day, buses depart every 10 minutes, and although the frequency decreases slightly at night, it’s not a cause for concern.
